Consultation & Campus Visit
Our admissions representative will dial your number to set up a short tour of our facilities, including our digital labs and recreation fields at Kahawa Wendani.
CBE Level Evaluation
We conduct a friendly assessment to determine the learner’s core competencies, matching their abilities to the right CBE modules.
Official Enrolment Letter
Upon verification of details, we issue an admission packet with book lists, fee payment systems, and instructions on purchasing school uniforms.

General Registration Checklists
Please make sure you prepare these mandatory items before your face-to-face appointment with the head of school in Kahawa Wendani:
- Original & Photo Copy of Child’s Birth Certificate
- Previous school transfer letter & original assessment record book
- Two recent color passport size photos of the child
- A copy of Parent/Guardian’s national ID card or passport
- Completed student health profile & emergency consent forms
Note on CBC Transition: In keeping with Kiambu County guidelines, we require student assessment portfolio references from previous schools for PP2 and Grade 1 onwards transfers.

When was Playway Academy established, and is it registered?
Playway Academy was established in January 1995 on a one-acre plot in Kahawa Wendani by professional certified teachers. We are fully accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology in Kiambu County.
What is the school motto, and what system of education do you offer?
Our school motto is “Motivated to Learn”. We offer the Competency Based Education (CBE/CBC) system, having successfully presented candidates for KPSEA in 2022 and currently preparing JSS pioneering candidates for the 2026 KJSEA assessments.
Do you offer school bus services across Kiambu and Githurai?
Yes, our secure school transport services cover Kahawa Wendani, Kahawa Sukari, Githurai Municipality, Clay City, and Ruiru suburbs. Transport routes can be booked during onboarding.
